Event Professional Spotlight - Claudia de Velasco

A UH graduate, and raised by an entrepreneurial father, it was only natural for Claudia to follow in the same footsteps. Now, Claudia is owner and lead planner of the award-winning wedding and special events planning boutique, A Day To Remember. After twelve years, Claudia and her team continue to plan some of the most beautiful weddings, in Houston and abroad, with no signs of stopping. 

With Claudia’s leadership, A Day To Remember was voted Top 10 Best Wedding Planners by CityVoter/Click2Houston in 2009, voted Best Wedding Planner by CityVoter/Click2Houston for 2010 and awarded Top 10 Best Wedding Planner in Texas for 2012 by Wedding Industry Experts. In addition, A Day To Remember was awarded The Knot’s Best Of Wedding Planner for 2011 and was The Knot’s Editor Pick

During her spare time, Claudia enjoys reading murder mysteries; spend time with friends at local coffee shops in the Heights and sleep!

NACE Supports the Ronald McDonald House

Several of our members donated thier time and services on Tuesday, November 20 to volunteer at the Ronald McDonald House Houston. Our team prepared, served and entertained the kids and families that currently live at the remarkable facility. Thanks again to all that participated for yet another successful community service project.
