Join us as we kick off the New Year with this culinary dynamic duo! Traveling to us from Denver, Karen and Brett Tucker will take us on the first stop of our Passport to Experience: Culinary Adventure!

 

Meet our Speakers:

Brett Tucker is the co-owner of Relish Catering & Events in Denver, Colorado. Prior to becoming the owner of Relish Catering & Events, Brett was the General Manager and Executive Chef for the company.  Brett has been responsible for the menu design and execution as well as the entire culinary staff for the past 13 years. 

Brett is a member of ICA (International Caterers Association), and was the Director of Fundraising for NACE from 2013-2015.  While supporting the organization he also created the annual “Bites & Bottles” fundraiser that benefits the organization in addition to the local non-profit The Shining Stars Foundation and The Foundation of NACE.  He was successful in raising over $40,000 during his time on the NACE Board.  While being a member of these organizations he has been a panelist for several meetings, spoke at national conferences, and mentored students to introduce and educate them on food trends, sustainability, food presentations, as well as service skills and traditions. 

 

Karen Tucker is the co-owner Relish Catering & Events in Denver, Colorado. Prior to owning the company Karen was the Director of Sales and was responsible for assisting the sales staff in designing unique menus for each individual client based on their preferences, dietary needs, and ideas. 

In addition to owning Relish Catering & Events, Karen has served on the board for the Greater Denver NACE Chapter since 2009, and is the current Immediate Past President. She has been a member of ILEA since 2001.  Before serving as Immediate Past President for NACE she was the President, Vice-President, and Director of Fundraising, and successfully raised over $15,000.00 each year for local charities, the Greater Denver NACE chapters as well as the Foundation of NACE.

Please note, self parking is not available. Reduced valet is available for this event at $12 plus taxes, at the second hotel entrance directly past the main entrance on Briar Oaks.

Surf & turf: pepper seared beef tenderloin with a texas crab cake, roasted garlic mashed potatoes, asparagus, caramelized onions, and  a red-wine demi glace

Dessert duo of apple crostata with a crushed hazelnut brittle and a hazelnut chocolate bomb
